# Welcome To infinite media from the internet ![](/files/-MLw43sXxv0JvY_4zySz) ## About **Wander** is a tool to search and import more than 62+ million media items from the internet with ease. Wander is available as an **Extension** to extend the functionality of the **Creative Cloud** applications **Adobe After Effects** and **Adobe Premiere**. ## System requirements Due to the **Adobe** **Extension API** becoming available in late**-**2017, **Wander** can only be installed on modern versions of Adobe Creative Cloud application. Wander is compatible with any workstation with hardware that can run **Adobe Premiere** or **Adobe After Effects**. *See below for a list of software compatibility:* | Applications | Versions | | ---------------- | -------- | | After Effects CC | 2019+ | | Premiere CC | 2019+ | | Illustrator | 2019+ | {% hint style="danger" %} **We recommend using Wander in Adobe After Effects. Use the **Wander Installer** to automate the install process. | System | Name | | ------- | ---------------------- | | MacOS | `Wander-Installer.pkg` | | Windows | `Wander-Installer.exe` | {% hint style="info" %} We recommend using the Wander Installer, but third-party ZXP-installers are supported. {% endhint %} ## Get download After you purchase a License, your download will be available in two locations. 1. A order confirmation will be sent to the Checkout Email with a Download link and License Key 2. On our website: ## Launch installer ### Finalize installation When the Wander Installer completes successfully, close the installer window and open your target application (Adobe Premiere or Adobe After Effects) {% hint style="warning" %} If the target application was open during the Motion install, restart the Adobe application to finalize the installation. {% endhint %} ### Failed install In the rare case the Wander Installer fails, you can manually install Wander using the included **wander.zxp** file. To install a .ZXP manually, please use Anastasiy’s Extension Manager. You can **log in** and **out** of your License Key and easily switch to a different workstation. ## **Open Application** **Wander** supports **Adobe After Effects** and **Adobe Premiere**. Adobe After Effects is best suited to import transformed images and SVGs.** {% endhint %} ## **Launch Wander** To open Wander, go to your **Application Bar > Window > Extensions > Wander** {% hint style="info" %} Wander is resizable, scalable and dockable. Drag and drop the Wander window anywhere in your application Workspace. {% endhint %} ## Enter license key When Wander is opened for the first time, a **License Key** is required to **log in** and finalize your installation. ### Get license key You can get your License Key from your Checkout Email.\ If you forgot your License Key, you can recover it on our [**License Recovery**](https://mtmograph.com/pages/license-recovery) page ## Confirm license After a valid License Key is pasted into Wander, the Extension will verify the number of installs/seats available and log in. {% hint style="info" %} After the first valid **Login** Wander can work in **Offline Mode** for 7 days. After that, an internet connection is needed to re-validate the license. {% endhint %} ### Multiple Seats If the License Key is valid, but the Seat Count is reached. Wander will prompt you with a license manager screen where you can log in or out of workstations using your License Key. ### Failed license check If the License Key check fails, a couple of situations may have happened: 1. The License Key isn't real, or entered incorrectly 2. The workstation has no internet connection to verify the license {% hint style="warning" %} For more information, or for assistance please [**Contact Us**](https://mtmograph.com/pages/contact-us) {% endhint %} # Troubleshooting Common issues and solutions ## Make sure your Adobe installation is up to date Wander supports Adobe After Effects version **CC2019 and up**.\ If you are running an older version, please update the program.\ If you cannot or don't want to update, we can only help you by refunding your order. ## Make sure you are running the latest version of Wander Most issues are solved with a clean install, and / or removing the configuration data.\ So before anything else, make sure you've got the latest version of Wander installed. You can find and download the latest version of Wander [here](https://mtmograph.com/pages/downloads). ## Adobe 2024 Update If you've recently updated to AE 2024 and are experiencing issues, you can try the following: 1. First, make sure to use our .*exe or .pkg* installer. This will ensure that old extension versions are properly cleaned up. 2. If on Windows, and the Motion 4 panel is not displaying, try running After Effects as an Admin. You should only have to do this once. 3. If you're still experiencing issues, you can try a ZXP installer. We recommend , as it has full support for Adobe 2024 applications. Other ZXP installers do not support 2024 as of this writing. ## Check your Extensions folder Sometimes, updates between Adobe applications, installer bugs, or other issues can lead to the extension being duplicated or corrupted in your extensions folder. You can find your extensions in the following locations: *** On **Windows**, the folders are:\ `C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions` or `C:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions` and `C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME_HERE\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CEP\extensions` \ And on **macOS** the folders are:\ `/Users/YOUR_USERNAME_HERE/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions` and `/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions` *** From here, you should see a **Wander** folder. If you see any *additional* Wander folders (such as **com.mtmograph.wander**), you should **delete** them. After deleting the additional folders, you can restart the Adobe application. ## Uninstalling Wander If you are still having problems with Wander you can try to uninstall Wander completely. You have two options here: If you successfully logged in with your license key and you are able to access the panel, you can go to the Menu > About > Uninstall. This action will remove all of the files and folders associated with Wander for you. If you are not able to log in with your license key and you are encountering problems on the login screen, you can remove the following files (same as above) On **Windows**, the folders are:\ `C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\Wander` or `C:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\Wander` and `C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME_HERE\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CEP\extensions\Wander` \ And on **macOS** the folders are:\ `/Users/YOUR_USERNAME_HERE/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/Wander` and `~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/Wander` When all the folders are removed, install Wander again with the latest installer. You can find the latest installer [here](https://www.mtmograph.com/pages/downloads). ## Clear the configuration data Wander stores your license key and other preferences in a configuration folder.\ Some of these files might have gotten corrupted, causing Wander to work incorrectly, and most commonly reported "Hang on the loading screen". By removing the configuration folder, you will get a 100% clean installation. On **Windows**, the folder is:\ `C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME_HERE\AppData\Roaming\wanderstable`\ \ And on **macOS** it is:\ `/Users/YOUR_USERNAME_HERE/Library/Application Support/wanderstable` ## Manual installation failSome problems occur during the regular installation method and thus is a manual installation required. This should only be done if both the pkg/exe installation and the ZXP installation fails. Manually installing Wander goes as follows: On **Windows**: 1. Download the latest .[ZXP](https://www.mtmograph.com/pages/downloads) for the tool. 2. Rename the .ZXP file to .zip 3. Unzip the .zip, you will get a folder. 4. **(Important!)** Rename the folder to **Wander** 5. Copy that Folder to: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\ (64 bit operating system)\ or\ C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\ (32 bit operating system) 6. Restart the Adobe program on **macOS:** 1. Download the latest .[ZXP](https://www.mtmograph.com/pages/downloads) for the tool. 2. Rename the .zxp file to .zip 3. Unzip the .zip, you will get a folder. 4. **(Important!)** Rename the folder to **Wander** 5. Copy that Folder to \~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions 6. Pay once, play forever. ## The miracle of Auto-Update All of our tools are equipped with an auto-update system. When we release an update, you will immediately receive the latest version and are ready to play with the newest tools. If you don't want your tool to update automatically, in Wander you can go to Menu > Updates and turn Auto-Updates off. ## Remotely login and logout, anywhere Installing Wander on multiple workstations is no problem. You can take your license key and just log in somewhere else. If you have exceeded your seats you can just "kick" another workstation out and you are ready to pick up where you left. {% hint style="info" %} If you want to work on multiple workstations at the same time, but you don't have enough seats, no worries!
